Modesto Police are asking for assistance identifying the male shown here. On 03-02-16 he used a fake ID to take money out an account at Bank of the West (9th/H. He did the same thing at a Ceres Bank of the West on the same day. When confronted in Modesto he pulled a knife and threatened the bank employee. He left in a brown colored Lexus. The same suspect is possibly responsible for using a fake ID in San Leandro in Jan 2016 at a Bank of the West. He is wanted on 211 charges in Modesto. |

Oakdale Police are asking for assistance on a stabbing that occurred at The Cottonwood Cafe, 154 S. Yosemite Ave. on 2-2-16 at 9:40 pm. Two employees returned to the business after hours after purchasing supplies. They interrupted two burglars in the process of breaking in the back door. When confronted, one of the suspects, a black male in his 30s, ran past one of the employees, knocking her down. The other suspect, a Hispanic male in his 30s who was jimmying the lock with a knife, ran at the other employee and cut her on the arm after yelling at her as he ran past her. The victim was taken to the ER by ambulance. Injuries were not life-threatening. One suspect with the knife was described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, 5'04 195 lbs last seen wearing a gray hoodie. The second suspect was described as a black male in his 30s, 6ft tall, thin build, wearing a black hoodie. Witnesses described him as having yellow eyes. Escalon Police are asking for help in identifying the male shown here. On 1/27/16 two portable Honda generators were stolen from ACE Hardware in Escalon. One suspect distracted the store employee while the other ran out of the store with the generators. A similar theft was reported at the ACE Hardware in Oakdale |

On October 19, 2015, Modesto Police were called to 2801 McHenry Ave. for a suspicious death investigation. Brian Abeyta was found deceased in his vehicle. It appears he was killed while he was sleeping. V-Abeyta was known to sleep in his vehicle in this area of town. Anyone with information about this murder can contact Det. Cal State Stanislaus Police in Turlock are asking for assistance in identifying this female shown here. The suspect stole a purse and used the victims debit card on 11/14/2015 at Starbucks on Lander Ave in Turlock. She is described as a Hispanic female, 30-35 years old, medium build about 160-180, described as having a star tattoo on her right wrist, a tattoo on her left chest area, and long brown hair. Stanislaus Sheriff is asking for assistance on this case. On October 07, 2015, at approximately 1050 hours Robert K. Kope was found deceased along the west shoulder of J59 north of Cooperstown Road in the area of La Grange. He had been riding a motorcycle in the area and it appears there was a minor accident involving the motorcycle. Kope was located approximately a quarter of a mile from the location of the motorcycle. Kope's death has been classified as a homicide and the Sheriff's Department is seeking anybody with information regarding Kope or his death. Please contact Det. HATE CRIMEModesto Police are asking for assistance on this crime. On 11-21-15 Officers responded to a report of a vandalism at Savage Middle School in Modesto. When officers arrived they found a classroom with a broken window and several areas throughout the school that had been spray painted. Some of the graffiti was offensive. Based on the evidence there is a possibility that the vandalism was racially motivated. At this time there have been no specific threats to any staff or students at the school. There hasn’t been any additional incidents since the 21st. There is no indication that there is a current threat to safety at the school. The police have interviewed witnesses and have not been able to identify a suspect at this time. The vandalism occurred sometime between 11-20-15 at 10:30 PM and 11-21-15 around midnight. |

Modesto Police are asking for the public's help on a burglary that occurred on 01/03/2016 at 1147 hrs @ Vintage Faire Mall. On that date and time a black male, 21-24 years entered the APPLE STORE stealing 5 IPHONES and flees the store with the phones. |
